1

Stop sending everyone the same offer

A blanket discount rewards customers who would have come anyway, and it costs you margin. Fydo lets you use what you know about each customer to send the right offer to the right group.

2

Know your five groups

  • New. First-time visitors.
  • Repeat. Customers who have purchased more than once.
  • VIP. Your highest-spending customers.
  • At risk. Customers who are visiting less often.
  • Lost. Customers who have not visited in 30+ days in the current setup.
3

Decide what each group needs

  • New: a reason to make a second purchase.
  • Repeat: a reason to visit more often.
  • VIP: exclusive benefits that make them feel recognised.
  • At risk: a reason to come back before they disappear.
  • Lost: a comeback offer.
4

Pick one group for your first message

Start with the group where a message is most likely to change what people do. For many shops that is new customers, who need a reason for a second visit, or at-risk customers, who are still close.

One group at a time

Send one message to one group, look at the result, then do the next. You will learn faster.

5

Target the group in Create Campaign

Open Campaign and create a campaign. In the Target field, choose your group, for example VIP customers. Then set the offer, choose WhatsApp as the channel and choose when to send.

The Create Campaign screen in the Fydo Partner app, with target, offer, channel and send fields.
6

Check, then adjust

A week later, look at the group again. Did they come back? Did the number of repeat customers change? Keep what worked and change one thing.

Explore the five groups

Common mistakes

Easy to avoid once you know them.

  • The same offer for everyone

It gives margin away and tells customers nothing.

  • Messaging lost customers again and again

Send one comeback offer, then stop.

  • Forgetting your VIPs

Your best customers should hear from you first.

  • Too many messages

Frequent messages train people to ignore you.

  • Waiting until customers are lost

The at-risk group is the best moment to act.
