Refund Policy

Fydo is a technology platform designed to facilitate loyalty rewards and digital transactions between merchants and customers. We operate solely as an intermediary and are not involved in the actual sale of goods or services. As such, all transactions, returns, refunds, and product-related concerns are solely the responsibility of the participating merchant.
1. Fydo’s Role and Responsibility
- Customers to earn rewards or cashback based on their transactions with merchants.
- Merchants to configure and distribute loyalty rewards to their customers.
Fydo does not manufacture, sell, or deliver any products or services to end customers and is not liable for any disputes arising from such transactions.
2. Refunds on Product/Service Purchases
All product or service refund requests must be directly raised with the respective merchant. Fydo does not evaluate, process, or authorize refunds for customer transactions, as we are not a party to the sale.
Fydo is not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or delivery of products or services.
- Pricing disputes, dissatisfaction, or miscommunication between merchants and customers.
- Delayed, partial, or rejected refunds.
3. Impact on Rewards or Cashback
If a customer receives rewards or cashback through Fydo based on a transaction that is later refunded or cancelled, the rewards/cashback must be reversed to maintain system integrity.
How it works:
- The merchant is required to notify Fydo of the refund within 7 days of processing it.
- Fydo will then reverse or debit the associated reward amount from the shopkeeper's wallet or account.
- The customer’s earned rewards from that transaction will be invalidated or removed.
- Fydo reserves the right to take appropriate action, including withholding future rewards, in case of abuse or failure to report.
4. Disputes Between Customer and Merchant
Any dispute, disagreement, or concern regarding:
- Product returns or exchanges
- Payment errors or duplicate charges
- Service delivery or misrepresentation
...must be resolved directly between the merchant and the customer. Fydo will not mediate or intervene in such matters.
5. Platform Protection
To prevent misuse of the Fydo platform, we reserve the right to:
- Temporarily suspend accounts involved in suspicious or disputed transactions.
- Investigate patterns that indicate fraudulent refund behavior.
- Share relevant information with the merchant to support investigation, where necessary.
